​Any extension of time to file a federal income tax return that is granted by the Internal Revenue Service due to a federally-declared disaster area automatically extends the date for filing the corresponding Wisconsin income or franchise tax return. In addition, the deadline for making any estimated tax payment that falls within the federal extension period is also extended for Wisconsin.
