The Wisconsin Department of Revenue (DOR) would like to remind you the 2022 Expenditure Restraint Program (ERP) Worksheet must be electronically filed (e-filed) with DOR by today, Monday, May 2, 2022. On April 1, 2022, notifications were sent directly to the 429 municipalities that are eligible to e-file the 2022 ERP Worksheet.

General Information

• Form is available in MyDORGov
• Due date – May 2, 2022
• Municipalities are eligible to e-file if your municipal-only 2021 property tax rate exceeds five mills
• Only eligible municipalities can access the 2022 ERP Worksheet
• Municipalities that do not file by May 2, 2022 are not eligible to receive a 2023 ERP payment

Form Information

• Amended Budgets – If your municipality must amend its budget, you must:
  1. E-file timely by May 2, 2022 with current budget information
  2. Submit an amended ERP Worksheet with your amended budget information by July 1, 2022
