The Wisconsin Department of Revenue – State and Local Finance Division's Local Government Services Bureau is currently recruiting for four Revenue Auditor positions in our Madison office.

Position information

  • As a Revenue Auditor, you are primarily responsible for the administration and education of programs of Chapter 79, Wis. Stats. and assisting in implementing the newly approved Innovation Grant Programs for counties and municipalities
  • You work with a range of people, including municipal and county officials and taxpayers

  • These project positions are permanent appointments, authorized through June 30, 2028. After the project is completed, the duties may vary
  • Headquartered in Madison at the State Revenue Building on Rimrock Road
  • Flexible schedule is available at the start date and hybrid remote work (office and telework) schedule may be available after three months
