Important Reminders – For ARPA SLFRF NEU Recipients

On behalf of the U.S. Department of Treasury (Treasury), the Wisconsin Department of Revenue (DOR) would like to provide the following information to each Wisconsin non-entitlement unit of local government (NEU) that received American Rescue Plan Act – State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (ARPA-SLFRF) in 2021 and 2022.

Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) – Register, Renew or Check Status

You need a UEI when applying for federal assistance and doing other business with the federal government. Treasury requires each government entity that received money to obtain a UEI for ARPA-SLFRF closeout. To obtain, renew, or check your UEI status:

  • Visit sam.gov
  • Locate "Register Your Entity or Get a Unique Entity ID"
  • Follow the prompts

Project and Expenditure Report

Wisconsin NEUs must submit their Annual Project and Expenditure Report to Treasury by April 30, 2025.
