The Wisconsin Department of Revenue – State and Local Finance Division,
Manufacturing and Utility Bureau, is currently recruiting a Utility Tax Auditor in the Madison district office. This entry level position conducts office and field audits of the books, records and memoranda of air carriers, pipelines, railroads, conservation and regulation, municipal electric, and telephone companies. This position also assists in the preparation of the annual property tax appraisals. The position offers an opportunity to work with a range of people (ex: local government officials, businesses, and professional assessment and appraisal organizations).
