​​​The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the Department of Revenue (DOR) held seven workshops for tax practitioners across the State. Over 1,700 tax practitioners participated. The presentations covered topics such as Federal Tax Law Updates; State Tax Law Updates (including individual income tax, corporation tax and sales/use tax); New Rules for Federal Tax Return Preparers; State Processing Updates; State Electronic Filing Updates; HIRE (Hiring Incentives to Restore Employment); and Electronic Records.
