The Wisconsin Department of Revenue (DOR) posted the 2020 Room Tax Report on our website.

General Information

• Municipal Clerk must electronically file (e-file) the Room Tax Report
• Within 2-3 business days, the completed form will be posted on our Room Tax Report web page for the general public

Note: DOR will not audit your completed form. Review your form before submitting to ensure no confidential information is included.

Room Tax Report (Form SL-304)

• Municipalities that imposed room taxes during 2020 must complete Form SL-304 reporting 2020 activity
• Due date – May 3, 2021
• 1994 documentation – if room taxes were imposed on May 13, 1994, you must attach the room tax ordinance in effect and financial statement closest to May 13, 1994 to Form SL-304, unless provided in a prior year
