The Wisconsin Department of Revenue (DOR) would like to remind you of upcoming filing deadlines.

Report due March 15

• RE-001 ​– Rural Electric Association Annual Report
• Note: File your request for extension for this report in My Tax Account

Reports due April 3 – extended due date

• LM-003 – Municipal Light Heat & Power Annual Report
• LP-003 – Private Light Heat & Power Annual Report

Note: DOR will apply a non-appealable late filing penalty to all reports filed after the due date with no extension.

Gross Revenue and Ad Valorem Forms Now on My Tax Account

DOR upgraded the utility annual filing process for the 2023 filing season. The above annual reports are now located in My Tax Account (MTA), our e-filing system.

If you or your representative are:

• Already registered, you don't need to do anything at this time
• Not registered, please do the following to create a username and password
  • Go to MTA Logon screen: https://tap.revenue.wi.gov/mta/_/
  • Click "New? Create new username"
  • Complete new registration Step 1 and select "Yes" to the question asking if you are a Third-Party Preparer
  • After completing Step 2 and receiving a username, email our Utility staff at utility@wisconsin.gov and request access to your company's form
